The TriMas Foundation's mission is to provide support to charities that engage in outreach within the communities that our company, TriMas Corporation, conducts business. While our initial focus has been on children that are sick, disabled, abused or simply underprivileged, we will consider other meaningful purposes within those communities as well. The TriMas Foundation, presented a check for $150,000 to the After School Learning Center (ASLC) at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills, MI. The ASLC, has offered children enrolled in the Pontiac public school district, academic tutoring and cultural and athletic programming since its inception in 1988. Beginning in 2005, the program was expanded and formalized under a collaborative agreement with the City of Pontiac and Lighthouse of Oakland County.
