The TriMas Foundation provides funds to charities which focus on children that are sick, disabled, abused, or underprivileged, as well as considering other meaningful purposes.

We are pleased to announce the 2007 TriMas Foundation Recipients:

After School Learning Center
The After School Learning Center is a program that provides academic tutoring, educational enrichment and recreational programs for children of economically challenged or distressed families that are in the care of the Pontiac Lighthouse and for underserved children in the Pontiac Public School System. Classes are held at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills. This reciprocal collaboration is aimed at erasing boundaries of difference and is staffed totally by volunteers.
Armenian General Benevolent Union – PTC
The AGBU works to preserve & promote the Armenian identity & heritage through educational, cultural & humanitarian programs.
City of Auburn, IN – Rieke Park
Rieke Park when completed will comprise of eight (8) ball diamonds, a large pond, a play ground, several picnic shelters, and possible a trail. We believe that this park will offer many different activities and be a valuable asset to the city of Auburn.
Beaumont Foundation
2006 Drive to Beat Breast Cancer, a fundraising event sponsored by the Beaumont Foundation provides funds for non-reimbursed adult and child services at Beaumont Hospital.
Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center
The BBAC, a non-profit regional art center, provides cultural opportunities to the community to enhance life by promoting the appreciation, understanding & practice of the Arts.
Coalition of Temporary Shelter ImaginAide Event
COTS helps homeless individuals & families help themselves through case management, supportive services & housing programs, breaking the cycle of homelessness by addressing the causes of their homelessness.
Community House – Annual Fund, Golf to Celebrate Kids, Taste of the Vines & Tiger Town Events
The Community House is a nonprofit organization with an exceptional facility and staff committed to responding to the changing educational, social and cultural needs of the community. People of all ages and interests continue to be served by the many and varied programs and services offered by The Community House.

Think Detroit PAL - Children First Charity
Think Detroit PAL is a private non-profit with a unique partnership with police officers that relies on contributions from individual donors, foundations, and corporations. Think Detroit PAL runs leadership camps, community centers, and tutorials plus a variety of seasonal programs in 11 different sports. Currently they serve nearly 13,000 kids with the help of 1,500 volunteers.
Tri-State University – Rieke
A Vision for the Future campaign to fund scholarships, renovate and build buildings and substantially increase the endowment at Tri-State University, a prominent, forward-thinking and innovative private college that promotes growth through its premier academic programs and extracurricular opportunities.
Women’s Committee for Hospice Care – Grand Night for Hospice
The Women's Committee for Hospice Care (WCHC) is an all volunteer organization which raises and grants funds to nonprofit hospices in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties of southeastern Michigan. WCHC is dedicated to promoting a comprehensive program of care to patients and families facing a life threatening illness as well as education and community awareness.
